Artificial Birth Control
By pinoykritik
The Philippines is a known catholic country with church bishop leaders that totally dislikes and ban artificial birth control method. Because of that, family planning method using artifial methods are very weak here in the Philippines.
The latest buzz, Archbishop Jesus Dosado of Ozamiz give instructions to the priests in his archdiocese to consider denying Holy Communion to pro-abortion Catholic politicians and Arroyo favoring natural method of family planning againts artificial one.
The catholic church urges us to take discipline in having sex instead of using contraceptive which has a moral and religious implication among us and the government is passing a bill about this. Let us take aside religion and see the current population and poverty scenario our country is facing. It is in the nature species man’s to have sex, and church move is to deprive both man and woman to sex, since they are now suggesting less sex for a couple, what a chaos.
Church is always meddling on our political affairs even though our constitution clearly states the separation of the state and the church. Filipino is in need of new method for family planning. Our population is growing too fast. Lower class Filipinos are the most affected by the lack of knowledge on the modern method of family planning.
What the church don’t know is how hard for a family to feed and finance the education of five or more children with a minimum wage. Does there practice provides them with children enough to know the basic needs of a family man? No, they’re old farts who clings to the old world which having more children is the pride of the family. Well tell that to the poor sector now!
Modern family planning method will greatly benefit Filipinos. And we hope that the church leaders will see this as a positive move and will not stick to their Godly policies.

hindi ko maintindihan ang logic ng simbahan kung bakit ayaw nila sa artificial family planning. so what kung isang catholic country ang pilipinas? bakit ang spain, kung saan nanggaling ang katolisismo ay tanggap kahit ang abortion?
hypocrite. that’s what our church is.
they’ve got to face the goddamn fact that sex is already a part of life and their suggestion of celibacy is out of the question. it’s better to ask a miracle than to force the people to be celibate.
i’ve heard that they’re ex-communicating some representatives who don’t support them. well, if that’s the case, why not all filipinos come together and never go to church, huh?
i am not amazed that arroyo favored natural family planning against the other. of course she will. it’s not her fear of god, i tell you, it’s more of her fear of her impeachment from the church.
i’ve never been a church-goer eversince. and with everything that’s happening, i don’t know why should i change my views about it.
