North Korea’s Dear Leader

By schistosomiasis

Finally, I was able to come up with an informative topic, so before I get a dose of indolence let me start now. As I was browsing the tv for some fun-filled, entertaining show. I happened to spotted the National Geographic’s documentary film about North Korea’s greatest dictator Kim Jong il. He succeeded his father Kim il Sung, the founder of the North Korea. Kim Jong il was referred to as the Dear Leader by his people. I later found out that he was called as such out of fear of punishment for failure to homage.  Kim Jong il never cared about his people. All he cared about is himself and how he can stay in power. While his people are suffering from malnutrition, poverty and ignorance he is living extravagantly. Still, they worshipped him like God. They cant do anything about that because Jong il is holding a nuclear weapon which can create tremendous disaster to the whole universe. That made me realize that our country is at least lucky enough to have a government, although corrupt as some people say, that is not as ruthless and as brutal as Kim Jong il. Here, we have the rights and privileges that North Koreans will never had, we can do what we want, speak our minds, and live life to the fullest free from total fear. We must at least be grateful that Arroyo still has a heart coz if not, a lot of people are lying 6 feet below the ground. Im not an Arroyo loyalist but once you learned about Kim Jong il, you will totally agree with me.

i’ve watched that several times…it was like the nazis, and maybe pol pot’s era…
it’s unbelievable, if you think about it, at this day and age. at hanggang ngayon, ceasefire pa rin ang north and south korea and any moment, p’wedeng magsimula ang giyera.
